Biography
Anna Darmanska earned a Master’s degree with honors at Kharkiv National University of Arts (Ukraine) in 2016 in the field of study “Musical Arts”, specializing in flute (orchestra and ensemble performer, lecturer of a higher school institution, researcher). Anna is a laureate of several Ukrainian and International wind instruments competitions, including the First International Competition of the Playing on Wind Instruments (3d place, Poland) in 2014.
During and after her studies she worked in symphony orchestras, ensembles, and bands in Chernihiv (Ukraine), Kharkiv (Ukraine), New Delhi (India), Zhangjiajie (China), and was on a tour with Dnipro Philarmonic Orchestra in Spain.
Although Anna specialized in classical music and flute, she is not limited to one genre or one instrument. Anna spent several years traveling the world on tours with orchestras, bands, and as a solo musician to more than 20 countries, performing classical, folk, Irish, and European medieval music, playing flute, piccolo, Irish tin-whistles, and Spanish bagpipe.
Originally from Ukraine, Anna moved to the US at the end of 2019 and since then lives and performs in Atlanta, GA.
